Brief Answer:
It is a muscle strain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Pulled muscle refers to a muscle strain that causes muscle spasm which is a painful condition. You can take oral muscle relaxant in combination with a mild pain killer to help it. You can get it prescribed from your physician. Do hot compress at least thrice a day. Avoid all painful activities and take rest. It will take 5-7 days to heal completely.
I hope this answers your query.
