Question : My husband was in the hospital recently from a fall. They did some ex-rays on neck. He has had three
surgeries on his neck in the past. The technician taking the ex-rays wanted my husband to turn his head
in a certain position and he stated that he could not do it because of the surgeries. The technician grabbed
his head, turning it and it cracked painfully. The only thing our doctor says is it's arthritis. It has been four
Months and he still in pain. There must be something that can help.

Brief Answer:
Needs MRI
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
Ideally, I would suggest that you test with a MRI cervical spine.
The x ray is a limited study and gives limited information.
I am not sure from the query as per the cause of surgeries.
so be aware that MRI cannot be done if metal is inside body.
Also consider a prescription for pregabalin and methylcobalamin while MRI is awaited.
This will afford some pain relief.
Best of luck. Dr Mittal
