Suggest Treatment For Severe Neck Pain

Spasm of the neck muscles
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understood your problem.
Do you have a stiff neck ?
Are you having fever, sensitivity to light and dizziness ?
It appears like you have a muscle spasm in the muscles of the back of the neck. This could be due to variety of causes like Bad posture while working or sleeping, Cervical spondylosis, Slipped disc.
Usually patients come with similar complaints as your with cervical spondylosis, which causes pain radiating from the back of the neck to the back of the head, shoulders and sometimes upto the hands. This pain can be associated with pins and needles sensation and numbness. This condition can be aggravated by bending the neck forwards, lifting heavy weights on the shoulders or working and sleeping in bad posture.
I would advise you to avoid bending the head forwards, use a pillow which keeps the level of the head at the same level of the shoulders and not push the head forwards or backwards while lying on it. Kindly apply warm soaks or hot water bottle to the back of the neck in the region of pain. You can consume Tablet Diclofenac 75mg or 100mg + Thiocolchicoside combination which has a pain killer and muscle relaxant respectively to help you find relief from the pain. Also you can apply pain killer gel of the same combination or the like.
Do not attempt to turn your head in any direction. You can wear a soft cervical collar for better relief and control of the neck movements.
If you do not find relief by this remedy, it would be wise to consult an Orthopaedician who will perform a proper clinical examination and necessary investigations like X-Ray or MRI as needed to find the cause of this pain, like slipped disc or cervical spondylosis or arthritis.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
Thanking you.

Cervical spondylosis, Arthritis, Back pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the follow up.
The tingling and numbness over the feet could be due to possible nerve pinching in the lower back or at the knee. Avoid bending forwards or lifting heavy weights.
I advise you to take a combination tablet of Pregabalin 75mg + Methylcobalamine for relief from the tingling and numbness and also improvement in the pain relief.
I would advise you to get tested for Fasting blood sugar and 2 hour post-meal blood sugar to find out if you are Diabetic, because persons with Diabetes can also present the same clinical picture.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer follow up queries.
