Brief Answer:
You may need more potent analgesics

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic!

First of all, it is sad to know what you had to go through in these days. shifting from Acetaminophen to Tapentadol is one step higher in analgesia pr pain relief and is usually associated with better results but If you are still suffering from same in testy of pain from neurogenic origin, using GABAPENTINS with or with out FLUOXETINE have shown better results and you can discuss these with your GP. Even if it persists, adding carbamezapines in nerve pains have also been of excellent prognosis or results in many patients. Using opioid analgesics like NUCYNTA for longer times is usually not recommended so it is better to switch to other drugs i have mentioned after discussing with your GP and meet a Neuro-Surgeon for treatment of the cause leading to such severe nerve pains.

Meanwhile you can also keep on using supplements for Vit B12 and Folic acid. Hoping you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Regards.
