Question : i bent over and nowi have severe pain across my middle back. it hurts when i move, or try to stand up, and lay down.

Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Your symptoms are suggestive of severe muscle spasm and to confirm that please tell me do you have difficulty in bending forward or looking backward?
Meanwhile you may have hot water fomentation, Ibuprofen and muscle relaxant drug (prescription only) thiocolchicoside and avoid lifting weights. Physiotherapy also helps.
