Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain And Flatulence When Diagnosed With Shingles
Question: i have shingles with severe pain and gas I took the valacyclovir 1 gm tablet for one week 3 times a day. for pain was given oxycodone 5mg every 4 hr.with it I was already taking ciprofloxacin for urinary track infection (from urgent care for side pain friday)
the shingles showed up on sunday went to dr on Monday he said I had shingles on wed I had severe pain and my stomach swelled up they did a cscan and again said I had a mass in left pelvic area 8.6 x5.4 the shingles are on the right side as well as the pain. they gave me something for pain said to see my doctor ( I
take on a daily basis I take omeprazole20 mg /irbesartan 150mg/amlodipine 5mg)
went to my dr next morning he gave me change of pain medicine hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 tb 1 every 6 hr, on Tuesday next week I was in severe pain a stomach extended dr up the dose of pain meds to 1 1/2 every six hours and a lactulose solution usp 2 tables spoon twice a day .
I was pain free for one day and half pain has started again on left side severe and gas and bloating severe
what can I do
do the shingles include rash as well a right swoolen side
