Brief Answer:
Yes but rather far away

Detailed Answer:
Get your own copy of the records.
Get disability attorney's records of your medical condition
get surgeon's records of the medical condition.
get them on the phone while in the new doctor's office ?

So.... if this is just a "how can I get Lotsa narcotics question" then there isn't much else to add.

Otherwise, sleep issues. This is relatively easy. The non-narcotic pain medications work by damping down nerves. They have the side effect of sedation because they damp down nerves. The list is basically all nerve pills have likley benefit both on nerve pain and sleep. This includes but isn't limited to: amitryptiline and similar medicines, lyrica, gabapentin. The anti-epileptics (lyrica, gabapentin, others) both work at a lower dose than that needed for epiloepsy AND also have a high safety margin and can be increased even past the epilepsy dose. Valium is helpful in a few people, it is a bit more dangerous.
