Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for submitting your question.

The plank pose in gauges nearly all the muscles of the arms, shoulder, and selected muscles of the chest and upper back. Since your arm gave out & is still hurting, it is advisable to rest for a few days while doing gentle stretches of the arm and shoulder along with range of motion exercises. If the symptoms and pain does not improve in A few days, or gets worse, it would be very reasonable for you to see your physician for a physical examination and assessment to make sure there is no serious injury. I hope you will make a full recovery soon.
