Question : I've been experiencing extreme pain in my left foot. Had it xray'd and an MRI on it. Saw a podiatrist who gave me this sleeve but all that did was exasperate the pain and caused my foot to swell. It's pain the metatarsal bones. Burning, tingling, numbness... those I can stand, but the excrutiating pain that feels like a knife is going through my foot then it being squeezed by a vice, is making me walk on my heal. I've been wearing Vionic shoes which have been helping, but today ran out the door to work with just a pair of loafers and by 2:00 p.m. I could barely walk so I ended up limping on my back heal. I think it's time I should have this foot injected or cut off it's so painful.

Brief Answer:
what was x ray and MRI report

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have read your query and seen your clinical photo.
Was there any significant finding on x ray or MRI. ?
If x ray was normal then there can be possibility of mortons neuroma.
I will advise you confirmation of diagnosis and further management like injection or excision.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and Tens may give you relief.
