Brief Answer:
Get investigation as required

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Hand and arm pain may be due to neuropathy. Knee pain at this age is mostly arthritis related.
If there is associated muscular pain then metabolic disease to be investigated.
You need to get investigations like blood sugar, Thyroid profile, vitamin B 12, vitamin D, renal function test, liver function test.
Nerve conduction study may be required.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Do get back after investigation.
