Sine when is this problem present?
Do you get a bulge in the groin that enlarges on standing, coughing, lifting weight or any activity that raises the intra-abdominal pressure?

Brief Answer:
Get the correct investigations done asap.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
If there is no bulge, the chances of this being hernia is not possible.
Since the pain increases after eating the problem is with the intestines. Either there is colitis that causes pain on eating or some sort of sub-acute intestinal obstruction.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult a General Surgeon or a Gastroenterologist for clinical evaluation, examination to get a colonoscopy, CT scan of the abdomen and if required Enteroclysis to get the exact diagnosis and get treated as per the diagnosis thus got.
Get this done asap as you are suffering from weight loss indicating getting the correct diagnosis at the earliest.
