Brief Answer:
Indomethacin only for 7 days.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

After hip replacement you have two dislocations and then again revised replacement..... as a doctor I can understand what pain you are suffering from.

I usually advise my patents to have indomethacin 25 mg thrice a day for 7 days and then meloxicam if needed depending upon the condition of my patient.

So in my opinion you can take meloxicam only if you have completed 7 days treatment with indomethacin, I also advise you to visit orthopedic surgeon for your physical assessment, he will advise you further managament if needed.

If you can send me the xrays of you replaced joints (ALL THE XRAYS WHETHER OF XXXXXXX AND AUGUST ) I will judge the condition more accurately.

Also send me the xray of both knees standing in AP view and xray of lumbosacral spine in AP and Lateral view after getting it, if you can.

I hope you got the point.

Thanks,

Dr.CHANDER XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
