Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Ribs

Question: I have pain within the right rib cage. It is a continual ache and then is a stabbing pain which takes my breathe away and I cant change movement as the pain makes it difficult. It is not back pain
Brief Answer:
This might be costochondritis!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have reviewed your information fully and this could possibly be an inflammation of the soft tissue(cartilage) of the rib cage. This requires pain medications to. I will like to know how you take ccodamol as this should be able to help control pains and allow for healing.
If pain persists beyond 5days or get worse, I will suggest that you get an x-ray to look at the bones making sure that there is nothing wrong there such as an infection or a crack.
I hope this helps. I hope to hear from you. Until next, I wish you well.
