Brief Answer:
Deep vein thrombosis risk

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for the query

You seem to be at risk for Deep vein thrombosis. Also you seem to have swelling of the affected ankle making its girth thicker.

I would advise you to keep the limb elevated, avoid massage, wear a compression stocking, drink enough water to keep hydrated, consult your Doctor to get a 2D Doppler of the leg veins done to rule out Deep vein thrombosis.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu

Cold soaks are useful for inflammation site to injury or infection.

Chronic pains respond better to warm soaks.

Do apply the temperature that gives you the best relief.
