Question : I fell yesterday on a wet floor at a local diner. I grabbed the door handle took one step inside the bathroom and while I was still holding the door knob I did the splits and then fell flat on my back. My legs hurt up by my crotch and of course my tail bone. Should I seek help?

Brief Answer:
depends

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If the pain is severe or if you are having trouble bearing weight on your legs then you should be seen as soon as possible. If the pain is not severe and you are walking okay then try these things and see if you feel better in a few days.
Use ibuprofen 600mg three times a day. Rest as much as possible. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day. Do warm soaks in a bathtub twice a day.
If you are not feeling better in 2-3 days or if you get worsening pain then see a doctor right away
I hope you are feeling better soon
