Brief Answer:
anti histamine, anti inflammatory pain medication, cold compress

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The pain and any signs (redness, swelling, tenderness etc) would be part of the body's inflammatory response so you need to decrease this inflammation..

The use of anti inflammatory pain medication and anti histamines would help.
Anti inflammatory pain medication includes naproxen, cataflam, ibuprofen and voltaren.
Antihistamines- benadryl, claritine, zyrtec or allegra

These are over the counter meds.

A cold compress to the area may also help as well.

The antibiotic cream would help if there is an infection present.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
