Question: I have a horrible mucus cough and some congestion probably from allergies. But my rib cage hurts. I have two prescriptions that I never used. Methylprednisolone 4mg dospak 21 and amox-clav 875mg. Which could i take?

Brief Answer:
better to take antihistamine and anti allergic drugs.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your symptoms are mostly due to allergic bronchitis.
And better to take antihistamine and anti allergic drugs because these are first line treatment for this.
Methylprednisolome is oral steroid.
It is given in allergic diseases but not in all cases.
Only in severe cases, steroid drugs are indicated.
So better to avoid both the drugs. If at all you want to take than take methylprednisolome.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
