I would recommend performing some tests:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms are not typical of any cardiac disorders.

But, it is important performing a comprehensive differential diagnosis of different causes that may lead to similar symptoms:

- inflammation or musculoskeletal disorders including costochondritis
- a lung disorder
- gastro-esophageal reflux or gastritis
- coronary artery disease. Even though your symptoms are not typical of this disorder, the fact that you may suffer from diabetes makes this disorder possible, as diabetic patients have atypical chest pain symptoms when suffering from coronary artery disease).

I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and performing some tests:

- a chest x-ray study and respiratory function tests
- some blood lab tests( complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate, kidney and liver function tests, HbA1C).

A cardiac ultrasound and a cardiac stress test should be performed to exclude possible coronary artery disease and examine your cardiac function.

A fibrogastroscopy may be necessary I'd suspicions of gastro-esophageal reflux are raised.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
