Brief Answer:
Probably bone fracture related to osteopenia.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The hip joint pain is related to osteopenia.
Osteopenia is a decreased bone density. Osteopenia itself does not cause pain.
The pain is usually related to bone fracture.
To confirm the diagnosis a physical exam and an x ray are needed.

Some advice that I can give to you are:
-take painkillers for the pain such as ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day
-make sure that you have a dietary intake of calcium and vitamin-D
-take calcium and vitamin D as supplements daily

If you don't get better you should see an orthopedist for a physical exam and further treatment.

Hope this answers your question.
Please let me know if you need further clarification.
