                                            Question : hello,
I suffer from chronic sinus problems due to allergies. I can't count how many times I've taken antibiotics. Recently I went to see my doctor because I had a lot of chest pain on my left side and stabbing pain periodically for about a month. It's been getting steadily worse so I went to see him. It felt very similar to the pleurisy I had 15 years ago. He told me that there's no way it's pleurisy because I wasn't in enough pain and I wasn't sick. I had an x-ray done and he couldn't see anything wrong with me. Rather than sending me for a CT he put me on the anti-inflammatory Indomethacin (50 mg 3x a day). It's the second day and my chest is starting to feel better but now I feel like I have full blown sinusitis. Can sinusitis cause pleurisy?
