Question : I had severe stomach cramps, then diarrhea, then nausea, cold sweat, this morning. My stomach still hurts and I've been on diet coke &'crackers all day. I've been going to bathroom and I just pass red blood, probably 1-2 tablespoons I'm 59, had a XXXXXXX appendix & gallbladder removed.

I understand your concern.After reading your condition I could think of shigella infection.You must have ate some contaminated food or drink,ate with unwashed hands.

If I were your doctor ,I would have done a stool culture and put you on fluids and salt replacement and antibiotics.Please see your nearest doctor and get evaluated.Meanwhile;

Please take Oral rehydrating solution in water and drink it throughout the day,
If possible, eat little and often, and include some salty foods,
Avoid consuming unpasteurized milk,meat or high fat food.
