Question: I have been experiencing pain on both of my thighs. They are very sensitive to the touch, yet the pain feels as though it is in the bones. I am suffering presently from two herniated discs L4-L5 and L5-S1. I had a treatment done where medicine and steroids were injected into the discs, but the pain in my legs is constant. I have temporary relief when taking pain meds, Oxycodine and when soaking in hot tub with epson salt...

Brief Answer:
About periferic pain:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I can understand your concern.
Diabetic neuropathy is a chronic complication of Diabetes ( usually starts after a 5 years period with Diabetes) and in the most of the cases it is manifested with numbness or pain at the sole of the foot, it is not typical for Diabetes neuropathy to be manifested with pain at the thighs.
So, by your description i would say it is a pain caused by herniated disc.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
