Question : Thoracic back pain, labored deep breath, heart fluttering. Should I have my heart checked?
Brief Answer:
Yes please have your heart checked.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM: please note that your age and gender with these symptoms highly puts you at risk for heart disease. In any event, a chest x-ray should be able to rule out other conditions like aortic aneurysm. Chest x-ray can also show whether you have an enlarged heart or have lung problems. These can all cause the back pain labored deep breath and heart fluttering. At the very least EKG should be performed. I would ask if you're a smoker because if you are, it is more likely that youl have lung problems that put a strain on your heart.I hope this helps , good luck
