Question : hi I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done yesterday just wondering how long my throat and chest will be sore I know biopsies were taken. Just want to know when to be concerned if the pain doesn't go away - how long I should give it

There is always irritation of throat and esophagus during endoscopy and pain may be felt for few days. It is important that pain subsidies from day to day and usually it disappears in 5 days and you should not worry. Wish you good health. Regards
