Question: Son woke up two nights already in agony with a tooth ache took him to dentist yesterday nothing going on there can it be sinus realated? What else

Yes it could be sinus related but it has to be some related symptoms if these are not there then it could be just anxiety and depression

It can be the sinuses or ear.

Problems in the ears can cause pain to be referred to the mouth and vice versa.

As you mentioned, issues with the sinuses can also cause ear pain.

You may want to consider taking him to see an ENT doctor. He or she would be able to assess and treat either sinus or ear related causes.

If an infection is present antibiotics would be needed. Other treatment would involve decongestants and antihistamines.
