It is necessary to provide the diagnosis first.

For example benign positional paroxysmal vertigo is treated very fast with Epley maneuver.

Meniere's disease is treated by avoiding salt, using water pills, use of betahistine etc.

If conservative treatments don't work, in some cases surgery may be necessary.
