Question : Hi, my daughter is 7 years old and weighs 22 kgs. She has vomited around 7-8 times in the last 2-3 hours. Have given her 5 ml of Ondem syrup. Is anything required dribble done?
Brief Answer:
Give another 2.5ml please
Detailed Answer:
Hi.... looks like a prodrome of viral diarrhea. Initially it will start with vomiting and then diarrhea might ensue.
The dose for her weight will be 7.5ml of Ondem thrice a day if there's vomiting.
Regarding diarrhea - Once it starts it will take 5-7 days to completely get better. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.
