Posted on Thu, 4 Feb 2016
Question: I fell on my right side, I was certain I broke a rib. The X-Ray and CT Scan showed no break. It is now one week later and the pain is severe, I have pressure on my right side and pain that seems to radiate from my right kidney.

Brief Answer:
Take pain killers and rest

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to HCM

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

If X-Ray and CT scan is normal then nothing serious.
Pain may be arising from soft tissue muscle injury.

You can take pain killers with muscle relaxant. Pain modulator drugs like Amitryptiline or Pregabalin or Gabapentin can also be tried (since these are prescription drugs so you need to check in to your local physician to get them).

If CT was of chest and no abdominal scanning then get an ultrasound of abdomen done.Hope you found the answer helpful.
