Question : My period came on 1/2/17 went of 1/11/17 came back on 1/20/17 went back off 1/27/17 and then started spotting extremely dark blood 2/2/17 and now small blood clots are coming out. What is going on?

If pregnancy is excluded, the other possible causes of such bleeding are:
1. Hormonal imbalance

3. Large cervical erosion
4. Thyroid hormone imbalance
5.Ovarian cyst
Therefore if pregnancy is excluded, consult gynecologist for internal examination, hormone tests and pelvic ultrasound.
