I read your question and i understand your concern. Sharp pain in lower back on left side and diarrhea and vomiting means is likely a correlation and nothing to worry about. All you need is supportive care, soft diet like Banana, rice, applesauce, toast, guava, pomegranate juices, green tea, alot of fluids, rehydration solutions , electrolytes solutions and rest. Imodium will calm the bowels down and some tylenol will help the back pain.
