Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Chest Area

I have had a sharp pain in my right chest directly under my breast for over a week. It is most painful when I inhale deeply or while lying down. I have had an ultrasound which ruled out my gallbladder and my kidneys. I don't have a cough. There is a weird gurgling or vibration that began 2 days ago. It's only happened 2 or 3 times and only lasts about 10 minutes. Any ideas what this could be? I can't get into my Dr till next week so I'm debating waiting or going to a primacare.
GERD, most likely
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based on your description , its most likely related to GERD ( Gastroesophageal Reflux disease ). It can present with such pain. Even though its a common cause for such non cardiac pain, we try to be on the safe side and always get an EKG done to rule out any cardiac cause. PPIs such as pantoprazole along with sucralfate and metoclopramide can be advised for 10 days to see for empiric improvement, in consultation with your doctor. You can take antacids and omeprazole OTC if you are not comfortable with going to a doctor right now. You should go to your G.P for the prescription meds if the symptoms/chest pain persists.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
