Question : I have been having a sharp pain in my left side right at the bottom of my rib cage. It kind of grabs when I breathe in like something is stabbing me. My chiropractor said there's a bowl duct that makes a sharp turn there and it could be that or I'm dehydrated. i has been doing it on and off for about 24 hours. When i breath in or sneeze it really hurts, What do you think It could be.
The pain is not contsant its just when I take in a deep breath. And its just on the left side of my stomach right at the front bottom of my rib cage.

Brief Answer:
Muscular strain or spleen inflammation
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
Thanks for the query
This could be a muscular strain or possible spleen inflammation.
Apply hot packs to the affected region. Avoid lying on the affected side. Take Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day after meals for 5 days. Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. Adopt comfortable straight posture while sleeping.
Do get an ultrasound abdomen scan to look for possible spleen problems.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
