Question : I had Mirena inserted three days ago and I have a sharp stabbing pain in my lower right side. It seems to come and go and NSAIDs help. Could this pain be related to Mirena?

                                    Brief Answer:
Tablets advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes most likely this pain is because of mirena.
So take NSAIDS as and when required but better if you take tablet drotin or tablet meftal spas while having pain.
Also take hot heat therapy daily via hot water bottle at the time of pain and you will get a lot of relief.
All the best.
