Question : my husband has shoulder pain and in the mornings his hands are swollen. he also has lower groin pain when trying to get up and down, also has lower back pain on the right side, same side as the groin pain.

These joint issues largely point to changes of Osteoarthritis.

The shoulder changes may represent Periarthritis of the shoulder.

For Confirmation I advise you to get X ray of the Shoulder and Hip both AP and lateral views .
