Brief Answer:
Poylymyalgia Rheumatica!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this shoulder pain that you have reported. I hope together we would get answers and provide timely solutions to this.

Shoulder pain that is worse in the morning and gets better with the day is typical polymyalgia rheumatical. This is more common in the elderly. Steroids provide marked improvement in symptoms. This condition is often related to another disease condition called giant cell arteritis that may cause headaches, blurry vision, jaw pains, etc. I will like that you meet with a rheumatologist for proper investigation and management.

For now, I recommend healthy diet and regular exercises.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
Are yoo taking any pain medications?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Physical therapy is a main arm of this treatment. I will suggest you get good pain medications while you continue started with the physical therapy. It would get better in future. If your doctor didn't prescribe any, try Tylenol and Ibuprofen for now.

I hope this helps. I wish you well.
