Question : Hi Dr. XXXXXXX - pain is continuing in right shoulder with and without movement. 4 weeks on anti-inflammatory meds. MRI scheduled for next Tuesday the 24th. raising arm up from side is very painful. XXXXXXX

Thanks for the query.

You may apply ya shoulder immobiliser such you can get at a Medical store.

Avoid lifting your arm. Get the MRI done and we can follow accordingly. Apply hot packs or ice, whichever offers better relief.

You can take pain killers till then.
