I have full rang of motion, can due basic activates pain free. However, it still feels a little sore when I lift my arm over my head. is it possible that the shoulder tendonitis turned into a torn rotator cuff or is more rest just prob required.

Brief Answer:
Tendnitis does not turn in to cuff tear

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can assure you that tendinitis can not become tear with out any trauma. Without trauma it can happen in old person. But you are too young to have cuff tear without any trauma.
Your soreness in just due to inflammation and it will improve with time. If you are very anxious than you can get ultrasound examination or MRI to confirm the diagnosis.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions
thanks
