Brief Answer:
Sialorrhea, needs evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Excessive saliva production also called drooling or sialorrhea has multiple causes and should be sorted out instead of just waiting for it to self resolve. Most of it benign though but still no harm in getting evaluated.

Gastric discomfort like acid reflux, oral hygiene issues, dental appliances, use of some medications like anxiolytics and sleep aids like clonazepam, recent episode of TIA or any other neurological illness like facial palsy etc can cause it.

I would like you to get evaluated for the cause by seeing your internist at an earliest convenience. No worries. It will probably turn out benign and self resolving.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
