Sick sinus syndrom is a condition when heart can't generate impulses as your organism needs. As a result heart contracts very slowly in sick sinus syndrom , sometimes there can be episodes of tachycardia as well.
I would like to mention that sick sinus syndrome and sinusitis are absolutely different conditions.
To find out the reason of your breathlessness I would advise you to undergo MRI of ENT organs and chest CT.
As you describe your complains has started after sinusitis , it is more probable that eather it is something connected with sinusitis or there is a complication. Above mentioned examinations will help find out the cause
