Question : since taking aldara creme last fall i have had numerous odd symptoms - stomach discomfort, dry membranes, heightened allergic reactions, vaginal/ bladder burning, burning mouth when eating and progressively my system seems to have reactions. gall bladder surgery coming up and have been very senstive to antibiotics my doc thinks since it started in the 4th week of the creme and isnt getting better, wondering what the treatment or tests might be to determine what is wrong ?read that ther is an antibiotic treatment but so far no one knows what to do?

You seem to have some kind of allergy can't say if it is due to aldara cream. Although it could have been a trigger.

Do you have any known allergy issues ?

I'd suggest you undergo a complete medical work up first. Consult a rheumatologist or immunologist or to rule out any collagen vascular disease as such kind of symptoms may be seen in these disorders.

Have you been given a course of oral steroids ? Oral steroids may help. So consult your PCP for the prescription. As of now I don't see any role of antibiotics.
