Question : I have had side effects from fosomax for a long time and can not find help from it . Nervousness bone pai n and muscle problems. It is horrible and I never feel right .Doctors just keep giving me anxiety medicine and that is it . Do you have answers? also have a burning sensation from head to toe three times after taking citalopram and levithyroxine . still get the sensation at various times not so severe. always changing.

I took fosomax in 2003 for a bout a year ,citilopram a couple of years and went off 4 months ago did ok with doctors guidance started these reactions before got off and worsened after then I took 1 to start back and burning sensation was from head to toe severely with nausea so I stopped . also took the one levethyroxine and same thing only took one so I stopped immediately Now doctor wants me try armour15 mg. this a.m. leary but will try.

will get copy of blood work do not have yet bone scan last done 4- 5 years ago

Since, your are off these medications it's important to check for thyroid profile and DEXA bone scan.

Additionally I advise you to get tested for serum vitamin B12 levels.

Once, the results are out specific therapy can be designed.

I generally prescribe my patients with oral pills of PREGABALIN to control these symptoms of burning sensation.
