Brief Answer:
Possibly the back side of sinus is affected

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Obviously in you case, there may be congestion of distal parts of sinuses and this will explain drainage into throat and chest. Also, you may have some nasal obstruction of anomalies of nasal cavities so it would be good to do ENT examination. Also, try with some hike remedies: Gargle warm water with salt, and drink plenty of fluid, take nasal sprays or decongestant such as Mucinex. Hot water vapor can help moisten the sinuses ior apply warm compresses. If this is allergic sinusitis then antihistamines may be required. Also,if there is chest pain, fever and productive cough, you should do lung X-ray's to rule out pneumonia. Wish you good health. Regards
