Question : .My husband and I have both been home sick for several days. He has run a fever of about 102, we have sinus drainage, coughing and now I have lost my voice. We have taken Dayqil and Niquil.

You both are having upper respiratory track infection .

Thanks for the query.

As per your clinical history it appears that you both are having upper respiratory track infection .

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you both
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily , Plenty of fluids ,
Steam Inhalation twice daily, Saline nasal spray thrice daily
Paracetamol for fever & weakness ,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination at night for sinus &
Macrolide Antibiotic azithromycin .
you can continue Dayqil and Niquil .

You will need to see your doctor to get a prescription .
