Question : I think I have a sinus infection, or possibly an ear infection. But yesterday I had a funny taste in my mouth and now and right side of my face is numb

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having acute on chronic sinusitis. Funny taste is because of post nasal drip from sinuses. Numbness is because of sinus infection. This can be treated with antibiotics, mucolytics and antihistamines + decongestant tablet with anti inflammatory medicines . All are prescription medicines hence I would suggest you to consult with the doctor and get evaluated. Emperically you can take anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol 500 mg + diclofenac 50 mg combination drugs twice daily for 3 days. Steam inhalation daily thrice daily for 5 days. anti histamine + decongestant tablet twice daily for 5 days. Steroid Nasal spray also will be helpful. hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
