Brief Answer:
it should return very soon...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

when inflammation inside the nostrils subsides the smell (and taste) usually returns gradually (within a few days). If you don't have symptoms any more (congestion, runny nose, etc) then your smell should return very soon. Otherwise you should check with an ENT doctor or your primary care physician whether there's still active inflammation or not.

Kind Regards!
