Suggest Treatment For Sinus Pressure, Tiredness, Mild Fever And Ear Pain

default
Posted on Thu, 17 Dec 2015
Question: Hello, so for the past 5 days I have had some symptoms that I'm slightly worried about. I have had sinus pressure, I've been very tired, a little shaky, ear aches, a little bit of a cough and today and Wednesday I have had a low fever of 100.1. I work in the health care field as an STNA and was curious if I should just keep doing Tylenol which seems to help a bit and the earache medicine... or just go and get checked out so I know I'm not contagious.

Brief Answer:
Viral infection likely. Take adequate treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and query.

As per your symptoms it appears you have respiratory tract infection with sinus involvement. I would suggest you to visit a physician for proper evaluation. You need to take nasal decongestant, antihistaminic, steam inhalation with sinarest capsule, pain killer and proper rest. Depending upon examination you might require additional tests. Do not put any eardrop without getting the ear evaluation. Usually these are viral associated and disappear in a week.

Hope I answered your query.
