Suggest Treatment For Sinuses Infection
Question: I have bad sinuses. Sometimes when I suck the back of my throat I spit out clear spit but tinted red. After a few spits it returns to normal and when I blow my nose it had little red streaks in it. Could this be sinus related it's been going on for 16 months and has not gotten any worse

The red streaks is due to bleeding and i would strongly suggest that you avoid sucking or blowing your nose as it will cause repetitive trauma and bleeding.
The bleeding is due to rupturing of vessels due to blowing since in a chronic sinus infection they become very delicate and rupture with even small trauma.
Please meet your ent doctor , he will ask you to do a CT scan and do an endoscopy on your nose to confirm the diagnosis and find out the extent of infection.
You will also need to be started on a course of antibiotics , please discuss this with your doctor.

Ok thank you sir I do use skoal that's why I was worried but I go to the dentist every 6 months and always have a good reporr
