Brief Answer:
Proper usage of medicines

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same .
Now you have been very rightly prescribed by your treating doctor for acne.
But the problem is that the topical anti acne drug like glintra a is known to cause some irritation in few patients in the initial few days .
So you will have to stop it's application for four to five days so that the skin allergy tends to decrease. You might have to apply cortisone skin cream or efficort cream over the face twice a day for three to four days.
Once the irritation tends to go, you can stop application of efficort cream and restart glintra a cream. But make sure you apply it only over the acne lesions at night. Do not rub it too much . Just touch it gently over the acne lesions and leave it. Rubbing it too much or applying in excess can cause irritation . In fact it would be better if you moisturize the skin with some gentle moisturizer at night and then apply this cream over the acne lesions. This will prevent development of any allergy in future .
In the meantime, you can continue using sunscreen and the oral medicines .

Hope it helps

Brief Answer:
Care of acne prone skin

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

1 You can apply glintra gel in the morning after washing face. After applying the medicine, you can apply sunscreen over your face after a gap of some ten minutes so that the medicine is absorbed .
2 Yes you can use neutrogena light night cream before application of glintra a cream at night. It will work as a light moisturizer .
3Application of an alcohol free toner is good for acne prone and oily skin and you can use it on and off.
4It is not recommended to the two types of sunscreens at a time. You can use only the photostable sunscreen which has been prescribed to you by your doctor. If you have dry skin and really need a moisturizer, then first you should apply sunscreen over your face after washing face and then apply an oil free moisturizer . It is necessary that the sunscreen should be in direct contact with the skin for it to be effective . But it is necessary to apply it atleast thirty minutes before going out in the sun . Reapply it every three hours if you stay in the sun.
Also you should avoid using hair oil.
Wash your face frequently .
Avoid picking or touching of acne lesions so as to avoid scarring.
