Question : for several days I have noticed cracking and now raw skin opening between my toes. One area is now oozing and bleeding. I am 68 years old, do aqua exercise 3-4 days a week at my gym pool. I am concerned about what to do to prevent infection and clear this up. Should I be in the pool next week?

If this is open wound, I suggest you to do not swim in the pool until the wound wont be closed.
