Question : I have a small skin tag at the opening of my ear canal in each ear. Should I be concerned about SCC? I've had three SCC episodes in the last three years.
Brief Answer:
Will require biopsy
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Skin tags are usually benign and are of no harm. The following are red flags
1. If it is growing in size
2. if it is painful
3. it changes color
4. it is seen spreading to the surrounding area
Since you have history of scc I strongly recommend that you undergo biopsy to rule out scc. It will be done by dermatologist and ent surgeons. Do not ignore this matter for long
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards
